Some Favorite DIY Projects

I only started reading design blogs a couple of years ago, but was instantly hooked.  One reason is because of the incredible DIY projects I find that can often be completed by spending next to nothing.  You people are so creative!

Here are a few of my favorite (inexpensive) blogger DIY projects I'm itching to try:

Love this chic no-sew faux roman shade by Camilla of High-Heeled Foot in the Door.  And, love the detailed, step-by-step directions that she provides even more.

At first glance, one would think Christina of Full House had spent a pretty penny on designer wallpaper for her daughters' room.  In reality, she modge podged big pieces of cardboard with scrapbook paper and then had trim cut to frame them.  Genius!

Lakeitha of Home to Three Duncan Boys saved herself $100 by customizing her own bedskirt based on this picture.  She used a $15 bedskirt, some grosgrain ribbon and Stich Witchery.

Got a good DIY that saved you tons of money?  Would love to hear about it. . . .
